What's been happening with the Harrison's?!?

Happy Sunday!

Obviously I am HORRIBLE at writing on my blog!!! I took a nap from 4-6 this afternoon. I wish I would learn my lesson already. I did the same thing last Saturday and was up until 5am! No more late afternoon naps for me.

Anyways.... Since I wrote last, Devin and I tied the knot. It's almost been 6 MONTHS!!!! I can't even believe how time flies. It has been the best 6 months of my life. Married life is the BEST!!!

Life is about to get a little more busy though... Devin and I both work for Legacy Traditional Schools. Devin is an incredible 6th grade teacher, and I work for the district office. School just started 2 weeks ago, and my office moved to the same campus where Devin works. So, we get to rid to work together everyday. Not only is it fun seeing my hubby a little longer in the morning and at night. We also get to have lunch together, as long as I'm not working through lunch, and we save a ton of money on gas. Devin was called to be the ward mission leader at church a few weeks ago, and that made life a little extra busy. There are great blessings waiting for us though. So we are excited about it. This week Devin is going to be starting his master's program as well. He has turned into one busy little bumble bee. While Devin is out slaving away over the next few months/forever.(He is so incredible!!!)I work all day. Then I come home and craft/sew/cook/clean. AND I'M LOVING IT!!!! Life couldn't be better. I have the most incredible husband I could have ever dreamed of. Actually, he far surpasses what I ever dreamed. Work is so much fun, and it's a little extra time with the cutest/most incredible man in the world. I am loving life right now!!!

Ok... So The Pop

Hello all! I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. I have been a little preoccupied with spending every waking moment at work or with Devin. But I thought that I would get on and let everyone know that Devin Popped the BIG QUESTION! And of course I said yes!!!! We are getting married on March 12, 2010...

The BIG Question

Not the BIG question that some of you are thinking of, but the big question as in who is this Devin guy and how did you guys meet? I love that people are always wondering about us. So, I thought I should share with you...

Devin is such a blessing in my life. We are so different yet so alike. Anyways, that stuff is all boring to anyone, but Devin and me. I'll tell you about the juicy stuff. Well, maybe not so juicy, just fun.

I had recently moved back to California and one of my friends, Matt Fisher, asked me if I wanted to attend a wedding reception with him because he didn't want to go alone, so I did. There I met one of the most attractive men I had ever seen, Devin. No lie, have you seen him? Anyways, at a later point, he asked me out to go on a hike. I decided, why not?!? It was the most fun I had on a date in a long time. We couldn't stop laughing! It's a long story. so we went on dates the rest of the week. Then he left for a trip to Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico for 2 and a half weeks. I honestly thought we had had a great week, but I probably wasn't going to see him again. What a total bummer!





Little did I know his family was going to Lake Havasu for a week and he wanted me to go. So, he e-mailed me while he was gone for the two and a half weeks, and I e-mailed back, of course. then, the day he returned from his trip we left for Havasu. He's such a trooper. It was one of the best weeks. I loved hanging out with him and his family. They are so great!!!





Long story short... I'm not living in Arizona, and we've been dating for a little more than 5 months and I've never been happier. He is the best!!! I'm so lucky!

Welcome to my blog

So, I set this blog up a while ago, but haven't done anything with it. As of recent, many people have been emailing me wanting to know an update about the past year of my life and what new projects i am working on. My response most often being, "You would love it all, but it's a long story." Therefore, I have decided to actually write on my blog.

Let me catch you up a little bit. I was living in Provo for some of 2009, and then I moved up to Ogden to live with one of my brothers. we had a blast going shooting, watching movies, having barbecues, and just playing in general. Int he beginning of 2010 some things came up, I'll spare you the details, and I decided to move back to California for a while. I was definitley not sad to see the frigid cold and snow replaced with perfect weather and the beach.

There are many notable experiences that occurred while I was in California. Most of them can be summed up into one word, Devin. And then the other most exciting experience would have to be going through a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and receiving of my endowment from Heavenly Father. Both have been great experiences and blessings in my life. I think I will stop this blog here. Love you all and thanks for stopping by!
